The Fiesta Necklace is back. It never really went away...it just went into hibernation. Hands down this has been my most popular design since establishing Sugar in 2003.
When I started designing and making jewelry I didn't really know what I was looking for, other than bright colors and semi-precious gemstones. As I am want to do, I collected several different types of beads and gemstones from all over creation.
Sometimes the creative act of assembling something that "makes sense" is daunting. And sometimes I just want to explode with color and texture. That is how the Fiesta came about. I couldn't decide on one necklace I wanted to wear consistently. I wanted all of the colors and textures at the same time.
The Fiesta design has been good to me. I have made steadfast friendships with fans of the Fiesta. And I have had fun and lucrative business connections with supporters who became friends.
